VAA Mourns the Passing of Founder Dick Van Sickle

VAA mourns the passing of VAA founder and visionary, Dick Van Sickle.

Richard Van Sickle (Dick) co-founded Van Sickle, Allen and Associates (later known as VAA) in 1978 alongside Chuck Allen. Dick set in place the blueprint that will forever guide VAA. He leaves behind an immeasurable impact that those who knew him cannot find the words to explain at this time.

Dick led VAA with four core values—integrity, excellence, service, and relationships. Whether he was referring to employees, clients, or the community, Dick emphasized the importance of relationships. “Relationships is a huge word, a huge part of everything,” he regularly would say—accompanied by his signature smile, of course.

Over 46 years later, VAA continues to build off Dick’s legacy—committed to the same core values that he held closest.
