VAA Provides Engineering Services in 2022 Award-Winning Project

As a company that prides itself on its strong partnerships, we’re thrilled to share our partner project with our client PKA was named a 2022 Top Project in Finance & Commerce magazine.

The project consisted of a three-story, mixed-use building in Wayzata posing challenges because of the small lot and extensive indoor parking intended for the project. Additionally, the city’s building and zoning code height restrictions required some creative structural solutions to fit all the desired building functions in the limited building height.  The primary structural systems were CIP concrete, post-tensioned concrete, and structural steel.
