About Patrick Arndt
Patrick loves solving puzzles. That’s why he excels at advanced structural design at VAA, where he specializes in agricultural and industrial projects.
As a detail-oriented senior structural designer with 18 years of professional experience, he not only drafts plans but also ensures the accuracy of drawings, communicates project details with internal and external team members and assists in keeping projects on schedule and budget. He takes great pleasure in coordinating all of the required disciplines and making sure the puzzle pieces of highly complex projects fit together. With extensive experience in variety of software including AutoCAD® and Autodesk Revit® Structures 2008, he also keeps up with the latest engineering and design advancements by attending courses and seminars on construction code accuracy and new/upcoming construction trends and styles.
During his tenure at VAA, Patrick has been motivated by the opportunity to dig into large-scale industrial projects.
When Patrick is not at his computer solving structural design challenges, he might be found helping his parents raise their sheep and goats.
