VAA Promotes Three to Principal

VAA extends its congratulations to Murphy, Mahr and Gentrup as they each were named Principal at the onset of 2023.   Collectively, the group has over 4 decades of commitment to VAA working in various roles and disciplines within the company.

Murphy started at VAA in 2014 as a Senior Project Manager.  With a prolific track record managing large, multi-discipline projects, Murphy is no stranger to building strong client relationships.   Beyond his project success and client know-how, Murphy has also used his experience to develop tools and resources to help build other adept project managers on the VAA team.

Mahr, known for being a calming force leading project and client teams, joined VAA in 1994 as a Structural Technician.  Since joining VAA, Mahr has honed his expertise, striving to always provide quality deliverables, commitment to deadlines and a level of excellence provided to VAA’s clients.

Gentrup joined VAA in 2018 as a Senior Electrical Engineer.   Gentrup has grown VAA’s Electrical team using his high level of technical expertise that has been critical to the success of major projects and instrumental in VAA’s growth over the years.  Beyond his technical skillset, Gentrup also has a knack for building trust and strong relationships with clients and his own internal VAA team.

While the announcement of their promotions only provides a brief glimpse into their professional success at VAA, it is apparent the influence Murphy, Mahr and Gentrup have had on VAA over their years of dedication to the company. VAA looks forward to seeing what the future holds for the three.
