Three Promoted to Associate

With the recent announcement of several promotions in 2023, VAA is excited to share that Byrne, Antila and Fredrickson have been promoted to Associates.  This distinction is the next step for VAA team members who have shown proven commitment to their roles at VAA and their leadership has helped advance the company, clients, and their team members.

Byrne began working at VAA in 2018 as a Structural Engineer.  Since joining VAA, Byrne has advanced VAA’s technical abilities in geotechnical pile and pipe stress analysis, as well as take lead on projects for developing, new clients.  Among her technical successes, Byrne also helps initiate and lead VAA’s WEAVE organization, an organization founded to support and build the position of women in engineering.

Antila has been with VAA since 2006 and has consistently delivered successful projects and technical quality for VAA’s clients since his start.  Additionally, Antila has fostered several opportunities in the food and beverage industry for VAA, developed his expertise in Food and Beverage and continues to be vital to the development of key VAA clients.

Fredrickson started with VAA in 2021 as a Project Manager.  Fredrickson is known for his ability to foster a team atmosphere, supporting the success of others.  Fredrickson also has a knack for developing and maintaining strong client relationships that has proven greatly beneficial for VAA as a whole.

While Byrne, Antila and Fredrickson’s impacts to VAA thus far are already expansive, VAA is excited to see what the future holds for the trio.
