VAA Welcomes Mark Sherry to Board of Directors

VAA is pleased to welcome Mark Sherry as the newest member of its Board of Directors. Sherry becomes the Board’s eighth member and its second independent, external director. 

Sherry serves as President of Mortenson Development, Inc. and Executive Vice President of M. A. Mortenson Company. Throughout his 39-year career with Mortenson, he has held leadership roles across nearly every area of the business and contributed significantly to the company’s growth. 

Sherry brings extensive experience in strategic growth, business operations, real estate development, preconstruction and design-phase management, contract negotiation and relationship building. He also offers considerable board experience, including serving as Past Chair and Trustee of Dunwoody College of Technology’s Board of Trustees.

Sherry joins independent director Paula Phillippe and six internal directors on VAA’s eight-member Board.
